Meet Me
Hi, I’m Trisha Dullu
Artist Statement
I find beauty in the fleeting moments of life—the stories we leave behind and the possibilities ahead. These moments are full of contradictions, yet they resonate deeply, offering optimism amidst the complexity of human emotions. My art explores the impermanence of life, where everything is in constant flux, and it celebrates the beauty and strength found in human resonance.
Through my work, I invite viewers to pause and reflect on the delicate balance between what was, what is, and what might yet be. I seek to express the fragile equilibrium of our inner worlds, where joy and sorrow, connection and isolation, coexist.
I am drawn to the textures of natural decay—distressed wood, peeling paint, rusted nails, cracked walls, bare trees—and the layers of history found in the forgotten corners of cities. These textures become my language, embodying the fragility and resonance I aim to capture.
My process is intuitive. Each piece evolves organically, combining free-flowing forms with geometric structures. I respond emotionally to both the materials and the moment I want to capture. This unplanned engagement allows my emotions to shape the final form. Through this process, I hope to convey not only life’s impermanence but also the quiet beauty found in moments of decay, transformation, and renewal.
Ultimately, my art is an exploration of life’s transience and an invitation to embrace the ever-present possibility of change and renewal.
